Rory graduated from Dundee University in 2015 and from the Royal college of Surgeons (MJDF) in 2017. He worked for a brief period in Stirling, prior to settling in his hometown of Glasgow, and now devotes his time between two practices in the West of Scotland, assuming ownership of Stewart Dental Care after his parents’ retirements.
He has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry with a firm belief in using minimally invasive and adhesive techniques. Rory has a particular interest in occlusion (the mechanics of the jaw), the treatment of tooth wear and loss and provides full mouth rehabilitation for his patients.
Dental education is something that is a major part of Rory’s professional career and prides himself on keeping up to date with new treatments to offer the highest quality evidence-based care for his patients. He recently completed a one-year course in Occlusion at the Dawson Academy in Liverpool, and is currently completing a 2-year Diploma in restorative and cosmetic dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons.
His ethos is that the best dental care starts with sound diagnosis, careful planning and good communication.
